IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Cast and repertoire may be subject to change. State Opera advises that performances of opera may be unsuitable for children seven years of age and under. State Opera reserves the right of admittance. Latecomers will not be admitted into the theatre until a suitable break in the performance. Sometimes this may not be until interval.

Lost tickets can be replaced as sea allocation will be on file. Please call BASS on 131 246 to arrange a lost ticket replacement. Replacement tickets are non exchangeable. General Admission tickets cannot be replaced. A BASS service fee of $6.60 per subscriber will be charged.

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been included where applicable in the prices on this brochure. All sales are final. Refunds are not available once the booking application has been received. Information in this brochure is correct at the time of printing but may be subject to change.

SINGLE TICKET SALES

Opera tickets make a great present for those 'hard to impress' relatives or friends. Single tickets for Turandot, The Marriage of Figaro and Rigoletto are available from 3 March 2008 at BASS on 131 246 or www.bass.net.au

CONCESSIONS

Pensioners, unemployed, and full time students are eligible for concession subscription rates. For each concession seat requested, photocopied proof of eligibility must accompany the booking form. Application without proof of eligibility will not be processed. Children are eligible for OPERA26 subscriptions, and concession single tickets.

RENEWING SUBSCRIBERS

You will receive a renewal form in the mail. Please use the renewal form to apply for the 2008 season, as it will insure priority processing. If you have not received a form, please call (08) 9205 2200.

OPERA26 SUBSCRIPTIONS

Anyone aged 26 or under may apply for an OPERA26 subscription. Applications must provide proof of eligibility, showing that each subscribe is of the correct age at the time of booking. Applications without adequate proof of eligibility will not be processed.

TICKET EXCHANGES

Regular subscription tickets may be exchanged in personor by mail for another performance of the same production up to 24 hours prior to the performance, subject to availability and after December 2007. A small exchange fee will be charged per ticket.

 

HOW SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE PROCESSED

Applications are processed in the following order.

RENEWING SUBSCRIBERS

Subscribers renewing without changing their seating requirment will receive their tickets in the mail. Applications received after 14 December 2007 may not change their usual seats in the Festival Theatre. Renewing subscribers requesting changes will be processed in order of receipt after 17 December 2007.

NEW SUBSCRIBERS

Applications from new members will be processed from 21 December 2007. Subscription applications received before this date will be processed first, in strict order of receipt. New subscribers will receive their tickets in the mail as soon as processed.

SITTING WITH FRIENDS

If you wish to sit with friends who are also subscribing , please mail your booking forms together in the same envelope, stapled together with a note reqesting that the seats be allocated together.
