By joining The Friends of State Opera, you can participate more fully in one of the most dramatic, romantic and powerful art forms.

The Friends have been supporting State Opera longer than any other sponsor, both having been formed in the same year. Your membership will enable The Friends to:

• Sponsor State Opera productions
• Sponsor the biennial State Opera Aria Prize in the Adelaide Eisteddfod (honouring the memory of Dawn Wallace OAM, founding Secretary)
• Assist in funding further training and performance opportunities for young singers and artists

You will also have the opportunity to attend functions with an operatic flavour that can enhance your enjoyment of The State Opera season. In particular, the Opera Voices Introductions allow you to meet and hear from key members of the cast and production teams for each opera in an informal mix of lecture, interview and performance.
